How much does a Dell laptop repair cost?
Diagnosis is always free. Standard Dell repairs are a flat £50 labour charge plus any parts at the price we source them — quoted to you before any work begins. CPU/GPU repasting on Alienware and G-Series starts at £75. If you decline the quote, you pay return postage only.
Are you an official Dell repair centre?
We're an independent repair service whose engineer is Dell-certified, with 10+ years and 10,000+ repairs. We're not affiliated with Dell Technologies. For in-warranty faults you can also go to Dell directly; many customers come to us for out-of-warranty repairs, accidental damage, or to skip the phone queues.
Will repairing my Dell void the manufacturer warranty?
Only the specific repair sits outside Dell's warranty — the rest of the laptop is unaffected. Our work is covered by our own 12-month warranty on the parts we fit and the labour. If your Dell is still in warranty for the fault, we'll tell you honestly whether to use that instead.

My Dell XPS battery has swollen and lifted the trackpad — is that dangerous?
Yes. A swollen battery is a fire and pressure risk and is common on the XPS 13/15. Power it off, unplug it, don't charge it, and post it to us as soon as you can. We handle and dispose of swollen cells safely and fit a genuine-grade replacement.
Do you repair Dell laptops by post across the UK?
Yes. Mail-in repair is our core service — you book online, pay for insured Royal Mail Special Delivery postage, and we email a prepaid label. Inside London you can also book an on-site visit instead. Either way diagnosis is free.
How long does a Dell repair take?
We aim to repair every Dell the same day it arrives. Timing can depend on parts availability for less common models or faults — we always tell you up front in the quote.
