Once your laptop arrives we diagnose the fault free of charge and send a clear, itemised quote. My laptop won't turn on - is the diagnosis really free?
Yes. Diagnostics are always free, even if it turns out to be a board-level fault. You only pay for parts and labour if you approve the repair, plus return postage if you decline.
What causes a laptop to suddenly stop powering on?
The most common causes are a failed charging circuit, a dead CMOS battery, a faulty power button board, or a short on the motherboard. We test each in turn and report exactly which one's at fault.
Can you repair a laptop motherboard, or will I need a replacement?
