Frequently asked questions
How much does a laptop screen replacement cost?
£50 labour plus the panel at cost. We source genuine-grade replacement panels and quote you the exact part price before any work begins. Most repairs are turned around the same day the laptop arrives.
My screen is cracked but the laptop still works - should I send it in?
Yes. A cracked panel will spread and can damage the backlight or display cable if left. Posting it in early keeps the repair to the panel alone, rather than panel plus cable or bezel.
Do you fit genuine replacement panels?
We fit manufacturer-grade replacement panels with the same resolution, refresh rate and touch behaviour as the original. We tell you up front whether the part is OEM or an equivalent-grade compatible.
Will my warranty be voided by a third-party screen repair?
Only the screen repair itself sits outside the manufacturer's warranty - the rest of your laptop is unaffected. Our work is covered by a 12-month warranty on the parts we fit and the labour.
