Frequently asked questions
How much does a repair cost?
Diagnostics are always free. Standard repairs are a flat £50 labour charge. CPU/GPU repasting starts at £75. You only pay for parts at the price we source them - quoted to you before any work begins. If you decline the quote, you pay return postage only.
What if I don't want to go ahead with the repair?
No problem. There is no charge for the diagnosis. You simply pay the return postage and we send your laptop straight back to you.
Which laptop brands do you repair?
All major brands - Dell, Lenovo, HP, Asus and Acer among them. Our engineer is Dell-certified with 10+ years' experience and 10,000+ repairs, and that expertise carries across every make. Tell us your model at booking and we'll confirm.
How long will my repair take?
We aim to repair every laptop the same day it arrives. Timing can depend on parts availability for less common faults - we'll always tell you up front.
Do your repairs come with a warranty?
Yes. Every repair is covered by a 12-month warranty against defects in the parts we fit and the work we carry out. It does not cover new, unrelated faults, accidental damage or misuse after the laptop is returned to you.
